ricktendo Posted July 17, 2007 Author Posted July 17, 2007 I don't really like 7zip icons so I use WinRAR as default viewer, I just use the 7zip shell extension mostly for those addons that really need uber compression Quote
Helmi Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 I don't really like 7zip icons so I use WinRAR as default viewer, I just use the 7zip shell extension mostly for those addons that really need uber compressionHah, what a reason is that not to use a programme!?Anyway, I don't like WinRar's GUI...Hence, I prefer 7Zip's slick and simple one I guess we're about even then. But at least icons can be changed very quickly.Dunno if there's themes for WinRar (then again I still wouldn't use it since 7z is open source and free!) Quote
Kelsenellenelvian Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 Hahhahaahahah you fergot the title!!! (Sorry 38 hours awake now) Quote

tap52384 Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 Could explain how to update the addons with the patched 7z.dll? Quote
ricktendo Posted September 15, 2007 Author Posted September 15, 2007 Extract 7zipAddOnName.rar then the 7zip.cab thats inside to subfolders of the same nameDownload and replace the 7z.dll that is in the extracted 7zip.cab folderRepack the cab and zip as it was before and done. Quote
bigrandalo Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 IZArc or TUGZip or cabtools or Microsoft Cabinet Software Development Kit and so on, and so on but i assume *THIS PAGE* can provide some more informations for you Quote
bober Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 rick, ure link to the non-default addon is down. Quote
Zyx Maiden Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 The first link isn't down... It lack the filename "Ricks_7-Zip4.56b_AddOn.rar" in it... Just add the filename at the end of the adress when you get the error page :icon_cool: Quote
