How is everyone today?

I tried several different searches and found no info on Windows 10 Anniversary Update and Win Toolkit. Hopefully this is correct forum?

I downloaded install_wim_tweak and it does not seem to work on the Anniversary Update. After three tries of removing Cortana I gave up.

Is there going to be an update or is there something I am missing?

Hi Michael, I can tell that you're having some issues with install_wim_tweak and the Anniversary Update. Some tools, such as install_wim_tweak, may not be entirely compatible with newer versions of Windows 10 such as the Anniversary Update because Microsoft altered how system files and components are managed. To my knowledge, there hasn't been a significant update to install_wim_tweak aimed at that update. You can attempt to look for other ways to uninstall Cortana, including PowerShell scripts or third-party programs that offer Anniversary Update support, but use system tweaks with caution lest they create instability. You may also want to visit forums or GitHub for any sort of unofficial patches or workarounds.
