I have used Windows Sidebar a while now and I like it very much.....

But I want to figure out why it ask for Vista Production Key in VaioXp when we are using it in Windows XP, and what is the advantage to add this key??

Please give me a answer........ :questionmark:

Its used for some games like Texas Holdem and Inkball, you wont be able to play them unless you input a valid key. Its not needed for the sidebar

It is mostly uninstallable, YES.

If you add new gadgets they will not be uninstalled

I almost sure that Sidebar itself with bunch of gadgets are uninstallable, but if you manually add some gadgets, they won't be removed, but you should be able to remove them manually.

Yes you can uninstall it and remove it if you don't want it
