Jan Krohn Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 What's your OS and MSIE version? I'll try to replicate the issue. For now, here's another link: https://software-download.microsoft.com/pr/Win7_Pro_SP1_English_x64.iso?t=f279caab-2f31-4f56-901d-de6a04ddc534&e=1526605536&h=5e2fdc854f9b2495988935193fa6645d Quote
lighthsecats Posted May 17, 2018 Author Posted May 17, 2018 hi jan, my IE is 11, but I usually use either chrome or firefox quantum for browser; my os is win7 pro (64 bit). thanks, I'll try the above link.... Quote
lighthsecats Posted May 17, 2018 Author Posted May 17, 2018 and just to be sure I'm doing it right, if this downloads correctly, then what do I do? just burn to a dvd? and then I can wipe my computer, and reinstall from this disk, correct? sounds easy, but never is....thanks again! want to do it right the first time! Jan Krohn Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 Yes, burn to DVD, or to USD drive (using Rufus). But don't just burn the ISO file to DVD. You need to create a bootable DVD from the file (with ImgBurn, Nero or a similar tool). Quote
lighthsecats Posted May 20, 2018 Author Posted May 20, 2018 jan, I downloaded ImgBurn, now I cant find the ISO file I downloaded yesterday. what now? I'm just not into this(an oldie) type of stuff; can you walk me thru? thanks, if not, thanks anyway for your input, I value it. Quote
Jan Krohn Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 I'm on vacation, and can't generate a new link right now. Use the search box in Windows Explorer to find the Iso file. Enter "Win7_Pro_SP1_English_x64.iso" into it to find the file. Quote
