Posted August 11, 20186 yr Hello and many thanks for your helpful tool. I noticed the tool first downloads the files in the C drive (somewhere in the AppData\Local folder) and when complete, it moves them to the user-selected folder. Is it possible to change the location of this temp folder? If not, I hope you can consider it. It will help avoid writing those GB's to an SSD drive. 🙂 Edited August 11, 20186 yr by Browsing
August 11, 20186 yr You can copy the link and use a browser or a download manager. Also, writing on a SSD is not a problem since a long time.
August 11, 20186 yr Correct. Download manager is the best way to avoid download to the temp folder. The folder location can't be changed programmatically. It's a Windows setting. Maybe you can change it by registry manipulation, but I've never tried that.
August 11, 20186 yr Author Thanks, the download manager is a fine solution. Symbolic links are nice too, but they probably don't apply in this case.
