Browsing Posted August 11, 2018 Posted August 11, 2018 (edited) Hello and many thanks for your helpful tool. I noticed the tool first downloads the files in the C drive (somewhere in the AppData\Local folder) and when complete, it moves them to the user-selected folder. Is it possible to change the location of this temp folder? If not, I hope you can consider it. It will help avoid writing those GB's to an SSD drive. Edited August 11, 2018 by Browsing Quote
mooms Posted August 11, 2018 Posted August 11, 2018 You can copy the link and use a browser or a download manager. Also, writing on a SSD is not a problem since a long time. Quote
Jan Krohn Posted August 11, 2018 Posted August 11, 2018 Correct. Download manager is the best way to avoid download to the temp folder. The folder location can't be changed programmatically. It's a Windows setting. Maybe you can change it by registry manipulation, but I've never tried that. Quote
Browsing Posted August 11, 2018 Author Posted August 11, 2018 Thanks, the download manager is a fine solution. Symbolic links are nice too, but they probably don't apply in this case. Quote
