mooms Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 Windows 7 iso contains all editions, just delete the file ei.cfg from the iso, and you will have the choice of editions at install. Â https://www.askvg.com/how-to-choose-desired-windows-7-edition-version-during-setup/ Quote
Jan Krohn Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 Or much easier, after the download is complete, use the integrated ISO tools to delete ei.cfg without fiddling with 7-zip. Quote
SnowBall Posted November 21, 2018 Posted November 21, 2018 The Ultimate edition went offline again... What a shame. If you want the original Ultimate ISO files, I do have them and I could upload it and give you a link. Regards, SnowBall Quote

Thiersee Posted December 23, 2018 Posted December 23, 2018 You can download the Professional version and delete the ei.cfg from the ISO with this tool eicfg_removal_utility.zip or, if you install with a flash-drive: go in Windows Explorerto the folder "<flash-drive>\sources" and delete the ei.cfg. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Quote
Jan Krohn Posted December 23, 2018 Posted December 23, 2018 My last three attempts to obtain a Win 7 Ultimate retail version resulted in receiving a counterfeit box with a useless key... With a couple of really awesome donations having come in during the last week, I think I can justify another attempt. If someone knows a trustworthy shop that sells (used) Win 7 boxes at reasonable prices, please let me know. But I'll try sniping one or two of them on eBay as well. So hopefully Win 7 Ult will be back soon. Quote
