I have made a password reset disk for my Win 7 laptop. Never changed the password and just forgot it as it was not used for months. However, the disk was not recognized by Password Reset Wizard, saying it  is not a valid password reset disk.

And how did you make this password reset disk ?

still not recognized on a new computer. I am using Rufus to create the disk.

Have you tried installing the CD method? I used this method to reset Win 7 password when my computer didn't recognize the password reset disk. I hope this method works for you.

As what i did,sometimes Ophcrack cannot reset the login password.I don't know why,but the other method is helpful for Windows 7 password reset.
