Samkov Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 HMMM If you have SP3 (which I have also) you don't need the wlan hotfix, its already included. Why you are getting this error must be because wlanapi.dll has been deleted from system32You uninstall the sidebar from add remove programsyou say sp3 has the hotfix on it, this probably sounds stupid, and i really havent seen if there is a sp3 for x64, but if there is would the sidebar then work, once alky is installed??thanks rick, rele hoping to get this working, ive installed the google sidebar as an alternative until i can get this working, the google sidebar is nice, but the gadgets really rnt tht good n r kinda plane anyways could ya look into that? ricktendo Posted November 8, 2007 Author Posted November 8, 2007 blind031 you will have better luck asking Rafael to add a x64 shell extension because you are going to get nowhere asking me, I have nothing to do with Alky. Quote
drzygn Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 I'm running XP SP3 too and I'm having the same problems as zodiac. Are there any workarounds at this point of time? Quote
gordgraff Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 Great work with this application...it is fantastic. One question: Is there any way I could make it so the Sidebar will not minimize when I use the 'show desktop' function? Also, sometimes when I just simply click on the desktop the sidebar minimizes itself. Thanks,Gord Quote
flaviometal Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 gordgraff,Try minimize with: Windows key+Mcause Windows key+D (or "Show Desktop" quick button) will show you ONLY DESKTOP, so, all is minimized. Quote

ricktendo Posted November 13, 2007 Author Posted November 13, 2007 WSS cannot skin the gallery (except the buttons) you need WB, Vystal or TrueTransparency to achieve the glass borders Quote
steviewonder Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 I was wondering about a dll error I get after integrating the sidebar, ithas error only when I'm installing or running certain apps. For example I can't install Power Produceras the dll error pops up. The exact name of the dll I can't exactly remember, but it starts with a p*.dll. Quote
