Oh lol, and i read about 10 pages for nothing :/ btw, i installed it normally but i won't get any clock of the ones i have to work, all black and cpu meter is blank as well! Also, same goes for like 8/10 gadgets... :/ why is that? how can it be fixed?

Run these 3 commands from your Run or command prompt

"%ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar\sidebar.exe" /RegServer

"%ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar\.\regsvr32.exe" sbdrop.dll

"%ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar\.\regsvr32.exe" wlsrvc.dll

funny enough, I installed the german version on a german XP3:- virtual box all is fine, but on the real Laptop(Notebook), the calender is not even shown..is that not funny?

I've installed the sidebar correctly, but when I rebooted a error message occured

Sorry. This application attempted do delay-load a library or function that does not exist. Instability may occur.

What can I do?

(alky, ie7 and service pack 2 is installed)

There is just one problem that sidebar doesn't load automatically at every start of windows.

Sometimes it does other time it doesn't.

I first checked in properties to start with windows.

Then I tried to paste its shortcut in start-up.

Though it shows sidebar.exe in Task manager but it doesn't show sidebar on screen.

I am also using Sidebar styler with this hope that isn't causing problems.

Hope someone helps me.

Your problem is sidebar styler... It needs .Net framework 3.0

Uninstall it and you will see, no more problems

Hey rick,

Just to start off, ive used the previous version of this sidebar, and it worked great. I really thank you for your hard work. I wanted to install the new version, so i uninstalled the old one. I have a laptop running windows xp sp3. I hit download but the page just keeps loading and finally stops at a "server taking too long to respond" page. Is it a problem with the site or is it my computer?

There is nothing wrong with the uninstall...if you get that error you got simply find the [uninstall] section in %WinDir%\inf\Sidebar.inf and delete the UpdateInis= line
