What do you think about WinStyle skin for Windows Sidebar (screens are from CZECH version)?

Looks AWESOME, but watch out you cannot patch a alky patched sidebar.exe with winstyle it will break it

The resource editing will have to be done before its patched with alky

thanks to rick i got to install the sidebar and it works great

i only have one problem TT.TT none of the drop-down menus (i think that's what they're called...the menus with the small down arrow on the rightside of a white bar that when u click give you more options to click...) work for me, i click them but they don't drop down

does anyone know a way to fix it?

I think you are referring to the wrench for the gadget's properties/settings...Do you happen to have tooltip fixer installed?

um no not the wrench i can access the options fine but....um to use an example in the gadget gallery the bar that says all gadgets and u can switch it to recently installed gadgets by clicking and highlighting another option and clicking again or um using the CPU Utilization gadget to change the setting u click the wrench and when the options window opens the windows...i'll just use a pic to explain

also no i do not have tool tip

Thats normal, does not work (you could use the keyboard arrow keys)

Its actually supposed to be a part of the "Search all Gadgets" box but in XP a extra box is added instead

However at least the search box does work fine

BTW there is also no tooltip in the gallery in Vista or 7, you select the gadget and click the "Show Details" to view more info about the gadget

Alky because I was given permission by Rafael the developer only to use the ORIGINAL MSI installer for my addon, he did not even want me to do a admin install to make it smaller

Gadget installer because if it stops working I can repair it with a simple switch

i am new to this window vista to xp sidebar. I am still using windows xp. and the sidebar did great. however, i cannot use the gadget extractor as it show JIT problems when i try to start it. Any solution for this? thanks.

I need to mention that i am using:

Window XP home SP2

microsoft .net 2 SP2

i download the real window sidebar for xp (joshoon) and install the gadget extractor v3

#1 This is not the place for joshoon sidebar support...

#2 With this you need the following = XP SP3, WMP11, .net & IE8!

My sidebar already comes with a gadget installer by Thomas Pleasance, if you did not use this sidebar but something somebody repacked I cannot help you

This sidebar i used already come with some gadget but i want to add couple that can help me. I do not know yours sidebar is how but i do used another one before but some gadget is not function so that i switch to joshoon one as i get the link from seven remix xp support link web. Pls give me your sidebar download link so that i can try it out. thanks
