bl_nk Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 You only include the setup somewhere, no installation, doesn't work! Quote
Gorki Posted August 17, 2007 Author Posted August 17, 2007 You only include the setup somewhere, no installation, doesn't work!No mate you have to run QT Address Bar via Start/Utilities to install/activate program. Then you have to enable it in My Computer View/Toolbars. Quote
bober Posted August 18, 2007 Posted August 18, 2007 you should add a line to ure addon to send it to runonce. Quote
bl_nk Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 No mate you have to run QT Address Bar via Start/Utilities to install/activate program. Then you have to enable it in My Computer View/Toolbars.So what's the point of this addon if you have to install it yourself? Quote
ricktendo Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 So what's the point of this addon if you have to install it yourself? The reason this addon is made this way is it needs .Net 2.0 installed before you even try to install the address bar mod (this guarantees it)This way you can install and uninstall it. ScOOt3r Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 a neat little program, this is what i like.. thanks for this GorkiScOOt3r Quote
BenWyldeZX Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 OK I have some time let me see how I can make it.That would be nice, if you can make the OT Adress Bar "compatible" with the Styler. But i think that's difficult =/ Quote
Pistolero Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Hi Gorki,What switches did you use to make the installer silent? I am trying to make an addon for QTToolbar and I haven't found a way... Thanks! Quote
Gorki Posted August 23, 2007 Author Posted August 23, 2007 Hi Gorki,What switches did you use to make the installer silent? I am trying to make an addon for QTToolbar and I haven't found a way... Thanks!I did not use any switches as it's named as true addon not svcpack addon. You should also know that this applications like QT Toolbar,QTAdressbar,Styler,etc... require different approach when making it as addon. Generally RunOnceEx should work for those. And for the note..I'm working on improving QT Address Bar addon so It won't be needed any user interference to activate it. Quote
bober Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 iits easy to make it unattended, with an autoit script that is...and u need a reg to add it to ure toolbar, cuz ull ahve to r clik and add it ure self. Quote
Wacky Chammomile Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 I like.. it looks like Vista.. as well as the functionality!!! .. Thanks :thumbsup_anim: Quote
tap52384 Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 A new version has been released; could this addon also include the QT Tab Bar? Both have been updated. Thanks! Quote
Inferi0r Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 Is there a place where the settings are saved? Like the place where the bar is placed and that the standard adress bar is unchecked. And is there a svpack addon for this? Quote
ricktendo Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 Is there a place where the settings are saved? Like the place where the bar is placed and that the standard adress bar is unchecked.HKCU,"Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\ShellBrowser","ITBarLayout"And is there a svpack addon for this?Nope, the reason is it might not install. It requires .Net framework 2.0 be installed first Quote
Inferi0r Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 Thanks Ricktendo. I'll make a WPI addon Quote
