OK, forget I posted in this thread..... I'm a tard.

I deleted everything, uninstalled nlite, reinstalled nlite, and started from scratch. I also installed the lasted version of WMP11 Slipstreamer as I was unaware the version I had was out of date. Everything seems fine running in VMWare. I'll try it on a real PC now and hopefully all is good.

BTW, thank you Rick for making this patcher available. I love it. :thumbsup_anim:

The problem seems to appear only on a real installation, when you use VMware the Hardware window doesn't show up. And I think it's only when you have SATA hard drives, beyond that, like the actual cause, I cannot tell.

Build 8.2.1 4-21-08

- Added Vista OOBE images (thanks to orbit30)

- Added a few extra files (thanks to amnesia)

- Fixed Copy, Move, Delete dialog bug (thanks to chaox2)

If you guys want a difrent OOBE (I use the Vista one) just download any of orbit30's oobe addons and overwrite the files in Extra folder

Note: I did not change any of the CAB extraction or compression, so you guys who were having problems before may still have them

Hi all,

I am trying to create script getting all localized files that would be needed for a localized V'iso. The list above includes all files that are non english in my XPCD, so the language of the .res files for these files needs to be changed. My question to you is, if this list is correct and also applies to your i386 source - or do you have any more localized files that V'iso tries to patch?

Unfortunately is not there, should be in another file...

do U mean, there isn't "Please wait..." in stringtable of syssetup ? kinda strange...

how about in dialog 119 ?

here is German.rar 2.62 KB for Ya. just extract to VISO 8.2\Resources , run it and don't worry about cmd window

flickering for a while :0)

all your .res files will change LangID to German (Germany), somehow there is also German (default) with hex 0x0007.

i didn't know which is better, so U may want to check on that.

p.s. U may need to change the path in German.cmd, if U have it different then "C:\Program Files\Restorator"

;) It's quite the same method I use for my localized V'iso. However on localized version of windows XP there are still english dllresources so not all .res files needs to have an other language.

Good luck
