h8isgr8 Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 (edited) OK, forget I posted in this thread..... I'm a tard. I deleted everything, uninstalled nlite, reinstalled nlite, and started from scratch. I also installed the lasted version of WMP11 Slipstreamer as I was unaware the version I had was out of date. Everything seems fine running in VMWare. I'll try it on a real PC now and hopefully all is good.BTW, thank you Rick for making this patcher available. I love it. :thumbsup_anim: Edited April 18, 2008 by h8isgr8

And I think it's only when you have SATA hard drives, beyond that, like the actual cause, I cannot tell.

The list above includes all files that are non english in my XPCD, so the language of the .res files for these files needs to be changed. My question to you is, if this list is correct and also applies to your i386 source - or do you have any more localized files that V'iso tries to patch?HJW

Sabotendar_kun Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 maybe it's in syssetup.dll String 3 ?Unfortunately is not there, should be in another file...Thanks anyway.
amnesia Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 (edited) Unfortunately is not there, should be in another file...do U mean, there isn't "Please wait..." in stringtable of syssetup ? kinda strange...how about in dialog 119 ? Edited April 23, 2008 by amnesia
HJW Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 (edited) here is German.rar 2.62 KB for Ya. just extract to VISO 8.2\Resources , run it and don't worry about cmd windowflickering for a while :0)all your .res files will change LangID to German (Germany), somehow there is also German (default) with hex 0x0007.i didn't know which is better, so U may want to check on that.p.s. U may need to change the path in German.cmd, if U have it different then "C:\Program Files\Restorator" It's quite the same method I use for my localized V'iso. However on localized version of windows XP there are still english dllresources so not all .res files needs to have an other language.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ V'iso b8.2.1 Dutch (Nederlands) V'iso b8.2.1 German (Deutsch)------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Good luckHJW Edited April 23, 2008 by HJW
