LUZR4LIFE Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 Ok. I have been trying to find this out for a few days. I have built my PC and upon start up I get "System Fan Error press f2 to continue"" on start up. I believe it is because I do not have a system fan plugged into my motherboard. I have to fans built into my tower but they are bot berg connections. Is there a way to stop that from coming up upon start up? Or is there a issue that I am unaware of?THANK YOU Quote
NIM Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 There should be an option in BIOS. You can try to find "resume on error" and set it to enabled. I'm not sure where in BIOS this setting is since it varies from MBO to MBO. Quote
LUZR4LIFE Posted September 26, 2007 Author Posted September 26, 2007 Unfortunately there was no option in the BIOS to make that change. I did find a option for my Virtual Machine. LOL. Thanks, I guess I am going to have to deal with it until I figure something else out. :suicide_anim: Quote
NIM Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 On my Asus MBO I had that option in software that came with the board. :icon_question: Quote
ripken204 Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 goto into the BIOS and look for something to do with hardware monitoring. find fan1 or something along the lines of that and disable the monitoring on it. Quote
