K4sum1 Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 I can't seem to find much of anything on this, all I can find are 802.11n cards or 802.11ac USB WiFi adapters. I'm interested in the DW1550 (aka BCM94352HMB), but I can't find much online about it, only drivers I can find are for 7+. Quote
infuscomus Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 @K4sum1 It might work with the ntoskrnl extender - we'd have to look at the driver. Quote

I would like that. Is there anywhere official where I can get the driver, either archived or still existing? (I would have replied earlier, however the notification email went to spam) Quote
infuscomus Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 @K4sum1 Upload the driver that your wifi adapter came with and I'll take a look. Quote

I don't own it yet, I'm just looking around for a WiFi adapter that fits the requirements I have. I found this driver below, I like it because it has both WiFi and Bluetooth drivers in one executable. http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/misc/wireless/WIFI_Win7_8_8-1_VER6322231_VER6312231_V6302231.zip Quote
infuscomus Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 @K4sum1 I managed to find this one for you. https://www.netgear.com/support/product/A6210.aspx#Software Version 1.0.0.25 It's oldest driver still supports XP, all the newer versions dropped XP support Quote

infuscomus Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 @K4sum1 One is USB and the other mini pci-e, so no sorry. Quote
infuscomus Posted February 3, 2022 Posted February 3, 2022 @K4sum1 Would you be happy with a USB WiFi adapter? or it needs to be mini pci-e? Quote
K4sum1 Posted February 3, 2022 Author Posted February 3, 2022 Maybe I could use a USB adapter if it's small and can take an external antenna with a U.FL/IPX connector. Quote
K4sum1 Posted February 6, 2022 Author Posted February 6, 2022 MHF4/IPEX4/IPX4 would also be fine because I can buy U.FL adapters for it. Quote
