Posted February 13, 20223 yr Hi. I wondered if the original Windows 7 Microsoft iso still exist somewhere, home premium, to download? In the program it says no longer available. Is this monthly days still a thing? Or that’s it, It’s a game over. If it’s gone forever. Are websites such as softlay reliable? It looks like they got the original download but you never know... I want to try to provide the downloads via MSDN, but I'm still collecting donations for an MSDN subscription that I can use as a basis for providing the downloads. 14 hours ago, JohnnySump said: If it’s gone forever. But you can always compare the hashes of the downloads with the hashes from our database. If they match, then the download is reliable. https://www.heidoc.net/php/myvsdump_family.php?family=Windows+7
February 14, 20223 yr Author Hello Jan. Thanks for the quick replay! What exactly you mean by comparing hashes? I mean the iso name is obviously the same name it was on MSDN. How exactly can I check it’s hash? Edited February 14, 20223 yr by JohnnySump
February 14, 20223 yr There are tools that can calculate the hash of any file. The ISO downloader can do that, and other tools like 7-ZIP too. Then compare the result with the hash given on the database.
February 14, 20223 yr Look here for the ISO you need [link removed] Always verify the hash as @Jan Krohn advised. Edited February 14, 20223 yr by Jan Krohn No links to unauthorized downloads please
