I am not doing an xp vs 2k thing Just wondering what the comit is on a properly nlited xp with most of the eye candy off is compared with a properly nlited 2k running the same services.

2000 is no longer supported by MS, XP will be till the year 2009 (so go with XP)

But I think 2000 would be much faster. You could get XP to run like 2000 if you disable the services (including themes service) according to Black Viper

I might use xp again. I want to make my own. Should I use hfslip or xp or both? There is an xp with a comitt around 20 mb and is supposed to be fast and secure. It is xp jacked core. I dont want to use this one cause I bought pro oem and can make my own. How can I get the same results?
