I have never messed with this option much but what does each mean

Default

ACPI Multiprocessor PC

ACPI Uniprocessor PC

Advance Configuration and Powee (ACPI)

Compaq System Pro

MPS Uniprocessor PC

MPS Multiprocessor PC

Standard PC
