NIM Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 Panda Antivirus (PAV) 2007 seems like quite a bargain Quote
ST33L Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 Is this AV program what you would recommend to use in conjunction with gaming?Ive just installed Nortons 2007 on my system. Is this too heavy for what I need? Quote

Tarun Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 Ew Panda, even worse, Norton.I've seen Panda slow down computers nearly as bad as what Norton does to them. Quote
ST33L Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 Ages ago i seem to recall my parents trying it on their machine. I ended up taking it off and putting Nortons on which seemed to work just fine although all they used pc for was email and occasional silver surfing.Sod it ill just keep 2007 on and see what happens :w00t: Quote
Tarun Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 You'd be better off removing it... permanently. Give them something like Avast.Need a free firewall? Try Comodo Firewall. Quote
MGadAllah Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 Give them something like AvastIt seems that you like this tool, why so? I may switch to it Quote

Is this too heavy for what I need?IMHO, I'd go for NOD32 or Avast..NOD32 is consuming much less resources than Norton and I would definitely go with NOD32.Since I've recently reinstalled my system and I decided to give a shot to Microsoft Live One Care free trial. So far I can say this:-It doesn't use much system resources-It has Antivirus, Antispyware, Performance Tune Up Tool, Backup and Restore Tool and Firewall..-It has 90 day free trial-It's from Microsoft, so you're sure that it'll work as it should So ST33L, try One Care if you like and tell me what do you think..
