cygnus Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 (edited) Cool. Thanks for the linky lol I tried 4 different PC configs, and I got the same 3 PSUs each time Oh well, I may get a new PSU if I decide to upgrade my video card. But at this point in time, I don't think I'll be changing cards. Edited December 11, 2007 by cygnus Quote
NIM Posted December 11, 2007 Author Posted December 11, 2007 Even if you're overclocking you don't need anything stronger than 520w of "true power".If you use SLI or Crossfire then you have a totally different story, for that you'll need more power.. Quote

NIM Posted January 10, 2009 Author Posted January 10, 2009 PSU (No-Name): 500W (don't know if it's real power or not)This is the answer to your dilemma. Your NO-NAME PSU probably doesn't have "real" 500W, but maybe roughly 250-300W. I'm positive that your restarting problems are related to PSU.Try to replace your PSU with some better one, for instance from Corsair, Thermaltake or similar manufacturers.PSU is among the most important parts of your PC to have a stable system. dexter Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Agreed with N1K and would also like to say that Antec, Enermax, OCZ, Silverstone or Zalman are also great PSU manufacturers. Quote

Looks great to me. But unfortenatelly, can't buy it now. And it will be >=600W. Thanks for your help Quote
NIM Posted January 10, 2009 Author Posted January 10, 2009 Yeah, I like Thermaltake. Looks great to me. But unfortenatelly, can't buy it now. And it will be >=600W. Thanks for your help I would definitely recommend you Corsair V550W which I'm using and it is very stable and strong PSU. Even better would be Corsair H620W which is stronger and also a modular version. Honestly, if I'm buying a new PC now, I would surely choose H620W. :icon_cool: Quote

NIM Posted January 22, 2009 Author Posted January 22, 2009 Never heard of those two. I still stand for Corsair. Quote
