Edit with Notepad

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\*\Shell]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\*\Shell\Notepad]
@="Edit with Notepad"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\*\Shell\Notepad\Command]
@="\"C:\\Windows\\System32\\Notepad.exe\" \"%1\""

Save as all files, xxx.reg

I personally just use Notepad++ which allows you to add a context menu shortcut for opening files with it. Extremely handy.

@cro-man Wouldn't it be better if it would use %windir% instead of C:\ because someone might have installed Windows to some other partitions...
