hi i know theres software out there that makes your taskbar transparent, but is there software out there that makes your taskbar transparent but not your start button, cause the start button i designed looks very nice and when it is set transparent, the quality of it goes down

I know how you feel. Unfortunately I don't know of any programs for that.

your best bet would be to find a theme that does this internally. and since youre looking for transparency, youll probably have to use windowblinds and mess with one of their transparent skins. but then again i know very little about making windows themes...

or you could just do what i do and remove the taskbar completely O_o
