I got it to show up in the sp1 sidebar for xp but I get an error every time it tries to connect to my AOL account. Has anyone had any luck with it or, better yet, know how to block the .msi file from checking to see if the OS is actually Vista?

Are you sure the SP1 sidebar is working on with Alky?

BTW heres how you edit the msi, just open it in Orca MSI Editor you can download here

Then find this "LaunchCondition" and delete it

Yeah, I never changed back to the RTM sidebar and everything seems to be working properly. Now, if I could only get the New Mail or POP3 gadget to work for my Gmail account...
