ionut_y Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Thanks, just one question, why Firefox protection is diabled ?Updated Quote
ricktendo Posted September 26, 2009 Author Posted September 26, 2009 FF uses a different method and is only applied for that user account (it edits some settings files or something) it does not use the registry like IE (which is applied for all users) Quote
ionut_y Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 So it is a good idea to let FF protection disabled ? Thanks!FF uses a different method and is only applied for that user account (it edits some settings files or something) it does not use the registry like IE (which is applied for all users) Quote
ricktendo Posted September 27, 2009 Author Posted September 27, 2009 What I was trying to explain is that there is no way to unattendedly add FF protection, its not possible, you will have to do this after the fact manuallyAnd "no" is the answer to your question about FF protection, its not a good idea to leave off, thats not why its disabledIE = Easy, just add reg entriesFF = Hard, Firefox needs to be installed and user settings have to be present...no way to do this during T-24 when the addon installs Quote
