Hi everyone,

I am trying to upgrade a Windows 7 computer to Windows 10 (2.30 Ghz, 32 bit OS, 4GB ram). The mediacreation tool keeps failing so I started thinking there might be something wrong with the existing computer, although it is running really well. I tried checking for updates but this fails on code 8007000e, so I started down the rabbit hole of trying to fix that.

I downloaded and ran the Malicious Tool scan and it didn't find anything, Next I ran dism and it seem to find 4 files that where the expectation was not correct, but the log file seems to say the files are unavailable. I also ran sfc /scannow and it reported that there were some corrupt files but was unable to fix them.

Is there a way I can fix this manually?

Hi,

Backup the important files and make a clean install by booting from the USB key and removing all partitions of the system drive, it will be much better than an upgrade from 7. drive,
