runningfool Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 so since XP SP3 will be going final soon, i was wondering what the chances were of installing SP3 onto an existing installation and then somehow patching that with the V'ISO GUI. obviously this can be done to an install disk, but for the sake of not having to re-install windows, i was wondering if my suggestion is even possible. ben0xff Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 Good idea ,but you missed something called "System Restore" .just might undo (so screwed) the whole modification, What IF after you reboot those changes/patches you made messed up your installation(didn't clean up properly). On the other hand SFC might just might nag the user to death, whining about replacements.Something tells me this is the way to goRyanVM>nLite>WMP11 Slipstreamer>Driver Pack 8.05>V'Iso 8.3=AWESOME Quote
