1- Create a new canvas, 500x200px, select black as your background and dark red as your foreground (#a42c1c), name the first layer as "BackGround".

2- Select the Radial Gradient Tool, Fill the background layer with it.

3- Create a new layer, name it "Base" and Create a rounded rectangle using Rounded Rectangular Tool, Be sure that you enabled Fill Pixels.

4- Double click the layer to open Layer Style window, Apply settings as shown.

You should have something like this:

5- Reduce the Fill value to 0%.

the result will be like this:

6- Duplicate the "Base" Layer and Remove Layer Styles name it "Base2". Create two circles using Elliptical Marquee Tool and draw a rounded shape, be sure to Enable New Selection at the top bar, don't forget to press on SHIFT to add the selections together, then press Delete to delete the selections

7- Select (#660000) as your background color, Double click the layer to open Layer Style window. Apply settings as shown.

You should have something like this:

8- Duplicate the "Base2" Layer and Remove Layer Styles name it "Base3". Create two circles using Elliptical Marquee Tool ,be sure to Enable New Selection at the top bar, don't forget to press on SHIFT to add the selections together, then press Delete to delete the selections:

9- Double click the layer to open Layer Style window. Apply settings as shown.

10- Create a new layer name it "Core", then create a rounded rectangle using Rounded Rectangle Tool. Apply same layer style as in step 9, you should have something like this:

11- Press Ctrl+N and create a new canvas 100x200px, and using Rectangle Tool and Pen Tool, Draw something like this and apply some cool layer styles:

12- Add your shape to your Mechanical Sig, & add some effects, this should looks like this:

13- Create a small ellipse using Elliptical Shape Tool. Apply a pixel stroke layer style:

Duplicate the layer several times and place as shown:

Similarly create on the other side, Your Shape should looks like:

14- Now press on Ctrl+Shift+E and merge all your layers except the "BackGround" Layer, and name the new layer "Final Core", then Duplicate and Scale down as many as you want, and place them as shown below:

15- Press Ctrl+poop+E once again to merge all your new layers again except the "BackGround" Layer, then Duplicate the new layer once.

16- Go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur and select Radius as 4.0

17- Add your text, and set the "BackGround" Layer invisible, save your new sig as PNG and Enjoy it!

Great guide, interesting use of the marquee tool :)
