pen25jf Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Hiya Kel,got a small prob as well. The Windows Updates List never shows up in the Control Panel. Been using your pack for a long time. Installed, uninstalled, even installed the prog by itself to see if it wasn't getting installed, but still doesn't show in CPL. Any suggestions? Also, where would I go in Regedt to make it show? Thanks alot Quote

pen25jf Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Which OS? I will look into it. "Bout time for an update anyways."Ack! Still no Win Updates List in CPL :sweatingbullets: Where can I do it manually?t88, try downloading the addon and reading the entries and see where they point, or use ResHack for the Switch less. For example I downloaded a Ccleaner addon and got something similar to where it would never show up in the Startup, so it could just be a compatibility issue with whatever skin(?) apps ur using, unfortunately I downloaded addons that had Spybots (NOT from KEL!!!) So maybe it's another addon ur using? Just food for thought, trying to help. Could be waaaaay off. Quote
Kelsenellenelvian Posted December 23, 2008 Author Posted December 23, 2008 Your the only one with this issue. Ever. Both of you.WinUpdatesList only shows in the "Classic" control panel. The folder opening on everyboot has to have some kind of start entry that got munged in there somehow. Quote

dekdeck Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 (edited) greetings Kel. Question, is it possible to make an sfx installer with this, uber and notepad packs with options to choose what you want to install? if so would u kindly make one, it would be very helpful and you'd only have to build one pack that includes everything an ppl would choose what they want to install on their individual system. if not its OK . Just putting the idea out there. or even an option in the inf file that turns on and off the apps to install. eg extract the addon open the inf ant at the top would have a list of the apps it contains and a on and off switch (option to install or don't install) for each. Kelsenellenelvian Posted January 25, 2009 Author Posted January 25, 2009 Honestly it is a good idea but I don't have the time. (Or get paid enough)It may sound easy todo but adding in all of the comments and making it so people could easily switch between the choices would be a pain in the butt. Plus ALOT of people have NO clue how to achieve modifying the inf anf then repacking it.CPLBonus pack has been updated. Quote
