hi all i have just installed win 7 pro onto an old laptop but it sees my broadband and connects but when i try and go online it comes up with cant find correct proxy settings i have tried everything related on the internet but still not working even tried using my phone to get onto the net is it my copy or bt broadband router had no problems before i reinstalled it

I presume you have to turn off the proxy in your browser settings.
