Hi,

Trying to modify Windows Photo Gallery for XP

I found the following files inside the folder

:/Windows Photo Gallery

ImagingEngine.dll

PhotoAcq.dll

PhotoBase.dll

PhotoClassic.dll

PhotoLibraryDatabase.dll

PhotoLibraryMain.dll

PhotoLibraryResources.dll

PhotoViewer.dll

VideoViewer.dll

ImagingDevices.exe

WindowsPhotoGallery.exe

ChangeMetadata.wav

And Inside /el-GR (Language folder)

ImagingDevices.exe.mui

PhotoAcq.dll.mui

PhotoClassic.dll.mui

PhotoLibraryResources.dll.mui

PhotoViewer.dll.mui

VideoViewer.dll.mui

WindowsPhotoGallery.exe.mui

So I patched *.dll libraries with Alky

and *.exe vista executable

Windows Photo Gallery appears at the taskbar (Opening Gallery... ) message

but the program doesn't load.

The error message I get : (Translation)

"Unable to open gallery. Your disk may be out of space or important Windows files may have been corrupted"

So anyone how is interested may help...

LINK: WPG.7z

Thanks

unless you plan on releasing something... it might be better asking in the addon discussion, instead of addon release section

(i know that doesnt really help your problem :P )

ccl0 You're right! but these silly things happen when you post in rush.

Perhaps a moderator could move the whole topic into the proper section.

Unless I find something new I do not intend to release a working version.

Thanks anyway.
