Kelsenellenelvian Posted May 21, 2008 Posted May 21, 2008 OK heres the deal:Some smartass took my disk and auto'ed his PC. (OK it was a friend but I mean the choice "Automatic Installation" means just that right?)Now he needs crucial data off the formatted and installed Windows + Apps drive. I took the drive out and have it slaved to my computer so its not being used. What is the best recovery software? Price isn't really an option here (I did say crucial right?)Sor far using a couple standard apps I have recovered like 40 gigs of assorted folders and files I need to sort through, but it doesn't look like the files are there. thedexmonster Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 If it is a Maxtor or Seagate drive you can get help from them. Seagate Recovery ServicesI'm sure other manufacturers offer similar services. Quote
