NIM Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 Hi Lewis, you can upgrade your Vista Home Edition to Vista Ultimate edition and you won't loose your Vista Home activation if that was the question. But, you will not be able to revert back to Vista Home Premium, you will have to reinstall it from scratch.IMO, if you have Vista Home Premium, think twice before upgrading to Ultimate version:Vista Home Edition probably is everything you need and it doesn't have the following features from Vista Ultimate:Volume Shadow CopyBitLocker (Drive Encryption)Offline FoldersIIS Web ServerRMSFax and ScanUltimate extras, such as DreamsceneSee here:Also here:http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/...ons/choose.mspxIf you really need the features I mentioned, then YES, you should upgrade Quote
