The Media Player Classic project began in 2003 with the initial release, initially published as closed source, which was later converted and released as open source.

Media Player Classic – Home Cinema, or MPC-HC for short, is an enhanced version with much more complete features than the basic version of Media Player Classic and is one of the best players available. Another version, MPC-BE (short for Media Player Classic – Black Edition), was released by Russian developers and is more modern in appearance and form. These programs feature small size, high stability, and full compatibility with the latest 64-bit versions of Windows. Media Player Classic Features and Benefits:

Simple and easy-to-use user interface

Full stability and very lightweight

Full support for common audio and video formats

Very high-quality video playback

Absence of the usual problems encountered with Korean players like KMPlayer

Features a variety of image and audio settings

Full support for all types of subtitle formats and compatibility with Persian subtitles

Media Player Classic Notes:

When a new version of the K-Lite Codec Pack is released, the latest 32-bit version of MPC-HC is also included with the K-Lite package.

To change the font, color, size, etc. for subtitles in the program environment, press the O key and switch to the default style from the Subtitles section of the opened window.
