It uses the thumbnail images embbeded in to images. Which is no bigger than the one you see at the folder pane. If you prefer using a fresh thumbnail generated by this, you should be patient enough since it increases the wait time, noticebly,when you right click on a picture. Also, it doesn't recognise as much formats. It is good for nothing, for me. Quote
