Guest
shafaet: Tell me, what options are you selecting on Page 4 (Options) of the GUI? Telling me this will probably allow me to narrow down the problem to a specific line or function.EDIT: Make sure you apply the SYSSETUP patch BEFORE integrating the XPtsp resources! Xtremely important!!!(Source)Bober: No, I haven't found/developed a way to build Icon Themes faster. I really haven't looked into it since the discussion.... I had gotten slammed by work, then this project kinda sidetracked/derailed the development of DSI....Off-topic: You know, it's funny about the origins of the words "sidetracked" and "derailed", considering how they come from the railroad and related industries.... Kinda interesting...DaRk MaDnEsS: Why the PatchAddon SYSSETUP InfSkip add-on? What does it do that may/would help with this situation?well i didnt fully test it but for some reason nlite do that problem so i used RVM + that PatchAddon_SYSSETUP_InfSkip_v14.7zthis what it does Multi-Patch: SYSSETUP.DLLINF Unlock refers to Disabling the check for M$ Digital Signature on the syssetup.inf file, flagging it as "Always Valid" so that it can be modified.ALSO: If you are using XPize i386 patching or your own custom Setup (WINNTBBU) GUI screens, apply them AFTER these patches.Do _NOT_ attempt to use these patches on any file other than an **original source version**,it _WILL_ fail to patch.Note: WINNTBBU modified screens are ONLY a problem if the one you are using has modified text resources.well not fully tested for the reason yet but i will try to test it soon
shafaet
well i didnt fully test it but for some reason nlite do that problem so i used RVM + that PatchAddon_SYSSETUP_InfSkip_v14.7zthis what it does well not fully tested for the reason yet but i will try to test it soonhi,i tried again with the new version but no luck with Nlite, then i tried with RVM in this case most of the addons has installed but WMP11, Ricks sidebar gadgets, onepiece IE7 and couple of addons didnot work. i don`t know still which part i`m doing wrongly integration.pls check whether any steps are wrong or not,1. integrate SP32. hotfixes, addons and also< that PatchAddon_SYSSETUP_InfSkip_v14.7z> with RVM 3. unattendent, tweaks, remove, add services and so on.4. patch with XptSP GUI latest version.15a5. add drivers with driverspack.6. bober
ok so can you manually extract xptsp files to ure root dir where i386 is and edit xptsp.bat.plz remove the "@echo off" should be 1st line. save it and run the batch.once you know the batch is interrupted please copy the lines where the batch has stopped at.also i really do recommend integrating the addon version alone .also is it possible that it is just taking way longer cause you have more files in drivers.cab than you had b4? When did this change happen? :/Not that I'm worried about it, like I said, I just noticed it.Keep up the great work guys!yeah this is wanted, i purpously deleted the giberish and lies m$ is feeding while widnows is installing. lolIt's IE7-Setup.exe downloaded from M$ web and added two hotfixes. All files added by nLite.Edit:For someone who wants Polish version based on XPtsp v1.0.10b16 Batch.XPtsp.v1.0.10b16_batch_plthats what i thought, you have to understand that an installer running later in the windows process cannot be patched cause the files arent present in i386 when xptsp is patching.true addons overwrite files in the source so they are available and dont change later in the install process.so if you want ure ie7 to be patched plz use a true addon or unpack the ie7 installer and manualy patch them and rebuild the installer.also: there will be some work to do on ieframe.dll/ieframe.dll.mui seems ms has change the layout of the dialog,as everythign used to be centered but now after updating to the latest ie7 hotfixes and manualy patchign the resources the avi dl dialog is no longer centered.i will wait a while b4 updatign cause 1st,there are no updated ie7 true addons available and what good is it to include the fixed res files to patch a file a certain way when it is not available yet...so once the ie7 true addons are released ill fix it.after further investigation im not sure if ieframe.dll.mui is the culprit...seems they may ahve revereted back on using ie6's shdoclc.dll dialog for dls,but i have no idea this ism only speculation Edited October 19, 2008 by bober
