cygnus Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 (edited) I just picked up a new laptop on the weekend. I had been thinking of a new laptop for a long time, and finally I decided to make the jump and did it.It's an ASUS F8Sn-D1. Specs are:Intel Core 2 Duo T5550 1.83GHz3GB DDR II 667250GB HDDnVidia Geforce 9500M GS14.1" WXGA GlossyWebcam in the displayWireless GDVD Super Multi BurnerWindows Vista Home PremiumIt came with a small USB pocket mouse and a carrying case. I'll try and get some more pics up of it later on. I don't have the time to use the computer that much, but when I can use it, it's so much fun heheThe battery life is great. I get about 3 hours run time, which is pretty good in my opinion. And Doom3 runs perfectly on it Edited August 13, 2008 by cygnus Quote

cygnus Posted August 13, 2008 Author Posted August 13, 2008 It's good...But so slow for me :sad01_anim:O_o you must need a fast machine mate, this little laptop runs pretty good considering it has an oem install of Vista on it. Quote

cygnus Posted August 13, 2008 Author Posted August 13, 2008 heheI'm finding the T5550 pretty speedy really. Only thing this computer needs I think is a reload with Vista that isn't so bloated. All the software Asus loaded on here sure doesn't help. Quote
cygnus Posted August 14, 2008 Author Posted August 14, 2008 Here's a picture of the Experience Index thingyhehe glad it's liked Thanks guys Quote
Mr_Smartepants Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 That's a nice score for a notebook. My buddy's MacBookPro gets 4.9 running Vista. Sadly my 3-yr old Gateway notebook only gets a 3.0. (XP was promptly reinstalled!) Quote
whitesouls Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Does that score climbs higher if we were to vlite the vista? :guns: Quote
Kelsenellenelvian Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Nope, sorry. vLitening only channges the software. The performance index is based solely off of the hardware... Quote
cygnus Posted September 14, 2008 Author Posted September 14, 2008 (edited) Thought I'd add a picture of the 3dMark06 score. My desktop scored just a little bit higher at 5368. I didn't get a screenshot of that because I didn't think of it lol Edited September 14, 2008 by cygnus Quote
