Jonnyboy Posted February 27, 2012 Author Posted February 27, 2012 Anyone have a need for this, if it were completed properly? Quote
*Reaper* Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 I would love for you to continue work on this.. I still use it all the time.. Especially now thatim starting to make inf addons for windows 7. Quote
Jonnyboy Posted February 27, 2012 Author Posted February 27, 2012 As soon as I have finished FFaM, I will look at finishing this. Quote
Jonnyboy Posted March 16, 2012 Author Posted March 16, 2012 (edited) I am working on the text editor portion of Inf Assistant. It is proving to be a little more difficult that anticipated. I have to decided to create it using WPF and ICSharpCode.AvalonEdit, by SharpDevelop. This requires .NET 4.0. Will that be a problem? Also, if you adept at creating icons, I could use a custom "Inf" file icon. All of the ones on the net on generic. Edited March 16, 2012 by Jonnyboy Quote
*Reaper* Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 No problem here...I use yours and other tools quite a bit, and now i use it on x64 versions of windows 7...Will you be including the x64 dir ids? Thanks for your effort of this... I really appreciate it.... Quote
Jonnyboy Posted March 16, 2012 Author Posted March 16, 2012 Yes. You could make it easier on me a post them or a link. Thanks Quote

Jonnyboy Posted March 30, 2012 Author Posted March 30, 2012 There is going to be some delay in getting this completed. The company that I am contracted with has lost their contract to another carrier. That, effectively, makes me unemployed. The next few weeks, although still employed until 4-14, will be spent searching for new employment.I will get back to this just as soon as I can.~jonnyboy Quote
niTe_RiDeR_Pr0 Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 I THINK this is the last version made...Thanks a lot Kels... At last a working link Quote
*Reaper* Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 I wish Johnnyboy would continue work on this outstanding tool... Or release the source code so I could update it... I love this tool.... I still use it today niTe_RiDeR_Pr0 1 Quote
Jonnyboy Posted January 7, 2015 Author Posted January 7, 2015 (edited) Sorry, but I did not see this post. This has been open since I first wrote it and is posted here. I quit working on this long ago as the interest in it seemed nil. It free and open for anyone to use or modify as you like, just give credit where credit is due. The file is just a 7zip exe. Hmm, looking at sourcefouge and the one posted above, the above one is newest, sourceforge is original. But, it is open source, do with it what you wish. Edited January 7, 2015 by Jonnyboy Quote
Jonnyboy Posted January 7, 2015 Author Posted January 7, 2015 I'll look through my drives and see if I still have the source files. Quote
Jonnyboy Posted January 7, 2015 Author Posted January 7, 2015 Here is the source code for what I was working on last. I don't know if it works as is or not. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/33523397/Inf%20Assistant.7z Quote

Jonnyboy Posted January 8, 2015 Author Posted January 8, 2015 No worries. The code is not well documented, if at all. So, if you have questions, feel free. Quote
bphlpt Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 Reaper, I hope you will continue in Jonnyboy's footsteps and release the source code as you update it. I'd like to follow along. Thanks in advance.Cheers and Regards Quote
jgp Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 I've been using this great tool until early 2014 when making addons for my personal use. It's great that somebody can take over this great project.
