x-shadow-x Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 (edited) Here is my custom logon for vista ultimate. You will have to take ownership of "imageres.dll" in the system32 forlder. Rename it to "imageres.dll.bak" and place the new "imageres.dll" into the system32 folder.x86 and x64PicP.S. It looks much better, the pic is just crappy quality.Download is in bottom right corner.http://www.2shared.com/file/4381392/ec752102/imageres.html Edited March 3, 2012 by dougiefresh Quote
spawn Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 (edited) Wow that's amazing...looks awesome...it worked for me...Thanks for sharing!!!BTW, this works on x64 as well....I've been meaning to ask, how were you able to take a screen shot of the login screen? Do you by any chance used VMwar/VBox to capture the screen? Edited December 6, 2008 by spawn Quote
x-shadow-x Posted December 7, 2008 Author Posted December 7, 2008 Thanks mate. Thanks for testing on x64.I use VMWare. Quote
spawn Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 not a problem because x86 and x64 file structure are nearly identical...Emmm...I thought you were using vmotion......in XP all ya got to do is press print screen, log back in paste it on paint it works but not for Vista..oh well...Either way, excellent TUT and nice custom login window....
