nania Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 A custom fit LTSP can be made to fit on a 600MB partition. I know, I've seen it running and serving X so the question is, can W2K3 get down below the 1GB marker without the whole OS going to the crapper? I'd like to find out but I won't hazard this without some serious hand holding. The Bold-Fortune guide was an inspiration for this endeavor. By the way, send the $15 to him and save yourself at least 3 hours. His scripts are worth it if you are running XP, unfortunately the scripts have too many discrepencies (mismatched/missing file names, etc.) for Win2K3sp2 EE so I am going to have to do it myself. Anyone willing to help? Quote
pri2sh Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 I think using nlite to decrease installation file and installing will be easy way. Quote
bober Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 i believe the 2nd cd of win server 2003 is just admin tools that you'd have to install manually anyways afterward.Plus running a server thats been fiddled with by Nlite might not be the best solution. Quote
