Hello, i'm hoping you can help me, I just downloaded your pack as the RyanVM pack is well out of date.. But i get errors about files already being there in nlite. I am using XP pro with SP2 then slipstreaming SP3 into it. the errors i get aren't always the same files. Sometimes it's once every 2 or 3 minutes, othertimes it's like now and i only had two, all lead to a bad iso...

Is there any reason why this is happening? i've tried reripping my XP disc many times. but without luck

and for the first time i got this.

"H-The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open.

Please report this error is it's unexpected

why don't you use RVMIntergrator, it does the job better than nlite

Also adding addons, and i was told to do everything in just one session, If i can add addons without breaking it then i will use that instead.

EDIT: Running in XP SP3 mode took the errors away, No idea how, But i guess it works, or i lucked out.

EDIT2: yeah i guess i just lucked out, not working now..

use a cd cleaner winxpsp3, use RVMi http://www.siginetsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=601 to integrate update packs (with nLite is already ok, but try to use RVMi seen and not touching anything, so the test will be more valuable), after having integrated the update pack, do a do a test VM and see if everything is ok, if so, then go ahead with the integration of other addon.

Ciao.

Worked perfectly except for one thing. whenever i start installing Windows XP i get a warning about a driver simply called "Battery" i was short on time so i also added an AVG addon to give it a test

But otherwise i have your addon pack, and cosmetic fixes for IE8

make sure you first integrate the service pack first, let it finish and then integrate your Addons thereafter.

well the battery problem is duo to use the cosmetic fixes for IE8

since it would patch some files so you can fix that by adding this line to winnt.sif

[Unattended]
DriverSigningPolicy=Ignore
NonDriverSigningPolicy=Ignore

that would ignore the driver signing

Hello I have some questions:

Is there any switch that will disable net framework 1.1?

I'm asking because I'm trying to integrate it with DotNetFx_All_In_1_Addon_v2.4 and it also contains 1.1

or can you suggest something else?

Is it possible to use use RVM Integrator to remove few things after Integrating Update Pack with nLite. Cause whenever i try this installation normally ends up with framedyn error.

Hey OnePiece. Thanks for your continued work on this addon.

I still have problems with Desktop Search. It works fine after running your batch file that you previously posted. I'm curious as to why that is necessary. I don't think it is an error in my builds, I think most people remove Desktop Search, so they don't ever notice the problem.

Anybody's feedback is welcome. I'd like to resolve this problem.

@dsp.deepak

Try integrating the update pack with RVM, that works now. I've had problems using nLite since it started working in RVM. I sill use nLite for almost everything else and it works well (except for the problem mentioned in the post right before this).

Hi Keegan, updating the pack in the last harvest, it still one thousand additions or fate in VM, you know both winxp enu and winxp ita, not or have never seen problems with the service of the WDS, it's all ok there, I do not know why you have to be problems, because not being able to generate the problem here, I do not know that even after repair

Ciao.

are you talking about "Windows Search"? . This slows down many PCs and my advice is to disable or remove it( It is actually useless-in my opinion)

As regards its integration, all works well with me and there are no problems whatsoever even after installation

Having an issue with the latest pack, i used v3.0 and i could integrate just fine. Now i am using v3.1 and it talks about a missing dll file.. thought it was something i added. But everything i added is the same i had on v3.0 minus MS Security Essentials.. Which i removed and it still doesn't work

it's missing Winsomething.dll it always says

It's working with just your addon pack and removing windows search. so the problem is on my end, Not sure why the installers don't work now but i'll have to find out

I have already integrated your Great Job 3.1.0 update pack. And now it can use RVM integrator, yeah.. that is a good news. But in your spoiler, I can't find your addon remover for IE8 and WMP, what that means i can remove that things by add/remove programs..? Sorry about my bad english. :blush:

@Off Topic

Hi yon, need all hotfixes to create update pack ptb, see also here the final list used by the users CSY you need to be present in all the hotfixes that will tell the directors Universal UpdatePack/Addon Creator if you can find all the hotfixes, and after you create it finds problems, upload all hotfixes (not directx.exe and ie8.exe and wmp11.exe) and sent me the link in PM

In this case it is almost impossible. I do not have more than 100 hotfix and not know where to download them. I do not understand. After sp3 have little more than 70 updates. This package is 180. Has many things that do not use and I will not use. Anyway thank you for attention.
