Please give your opinion on integrators and maybe insight to why one is better than the other. Pros-Cons, best support..etc.

If you use something other than the programs listed please add it here and I will add the name to the poll.

Thanks.

nLite - Windows Installation Customizer & RyanVM Integrator. RyanVM Integrator for creating bootable XP CD/DVD, and for everything else = nLite - Windows Installation Customizer.

Looks like I'm the only one using HFslip here ...

I like HFslip for it's easy folder's implementation. Many kinds of folders to control what runs at when.

It also support autoit script in .au3 format (w/o compiling to exe)

Can easily replace system files with own resource-hack one (like shell32.dll, explorer.exe etc)

Takes registry (.reg) files w/o using batch command (At T13 and GUIRUNONCE)

Takes .inf files w/o using batch command (At T13 and GUIRUNONCE)

Easily place GUIRUNONCE applications w/o using batch command

U tweak only if u know how (for customization), thus face less issue to resolve.

Takes silent exe (w/o wrapping with entries.ini in cab/.7z/rar format)

The smallest in term of file size but probably the longest .cmd script in the world :D

Nice Geej,

nLite and WPI here

Same here!

Stuff I always want in (like Update Packs, Kel's CP addons, stuff I can't live without (Taskbar Shuffle, QT bars etc.) and some minor tweaks and fixes) I use nLite for, the rest (also big apps such as Nero, Office etc) WPI.

Much more convenient, plus, I don't have to install everything when I'm just doing a test run (but I don't want to miss the aforementioned apps even then!).

I use RVMI for nearly everything. But I use Nlite as well. Some addons work with one, but not the other.

I've never used HFslip, and I didn't even realize WPIW would do integrations (I use it post install).

A tool is a tool...

whatever will get the job done is fine.

Thanks for the info Geej. It's always nice for me to try something new ;)
