hello,

i have just installed vista ultimate on my notebook (previously i had xp) and now i don't have any sound.

i tried few ways like uninstalling the audio driver and install a new one but it still not working ..

atm i have no audio driver at all so i need something that will match with my sony vaio vgn fs315z

if you have any idea or you have experienced this, please let me know how you've sorted it.

have you installed the drivers for your laptop?

Install XP back on your laptop. see if sound comes on then

I also wish to tell you that I had a similar experience after installing WAREZ LINK! Windows Vista Extreme Edition R2" on my HP Vectra and it installed the default Windows Vista driver for the graphics card and put it in low res and read it at 1mb (it's a Vista thing).

How I fixed it? I uninstalled the driver and then reinstalled the new one. it worked :)
