OK kinda question.. is it possible to add IE8 later on in nlite/rvmi (I barely use rvmi..) or maybe even integrate IE7 1st?

better integrate IE8 addon in a cd cleaner without ie7 in, addon integrates with both nLite is RVMi with no problem

I have a big problem... I run AddOn maker, then search for folder where is IE8-WindowsXP-x86-CSY.exe. I have got dialog with creation sucesfully completed, but don

2 or 3 days I'm working on them already done so that the creator automatic knows file version, so do not ever put more files into the addon obsolete or otherwise, now need to review and remove the exe do everything from a cmd file so delete all false positive.

Windows normal instaled in Turkish version.

0 errors and works great in general.

But missing windows update.

http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com is not working (error 0x8DDD0004).

I integratet with nlite.

Install Microsft Update, test and after?

I crated IE8 Addon using the latest version of Onepiece's IE7/8 Addon creator (of 09Apr2009). But no .CAB or .INI file in the newly created folder. So which file I will select to integrate using nLite 1.4.9.1.

I was successful in one way (not satisfied) :

I was using an English version: IE8-WindowsXP-x86-ENU.exe. I did it in the way you have done and YES it created two folders in the IE8 .......exe directory, namely : 1. "Archive_Files", 2. "NonnoFabio_IE8_WinXPSP3_AddOn_ENU". The original .exe file also was left behind intact. But now is the FUN

When I searched, I found the file "entries_IE8.ini"in the "Archive_Files" folder. I selected all the files of the newly created second directory:"NonnoFabio_IE8_WinXPSP3_AddOn_ENU", including the SVCPACK Folder inside it and made a ZIP archive of it. Put this .zip file in another place. Now asked nLite to integrate it. YES NOW IT INTEGRATED TO THE XP INSTALLATION PACK SUCCESSFULLY.

Another method I tried:

I tried to create the Addon with the switchS.txt file inside the IE8.....exe folder, as described in http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5999 But in that case, though it created the 2 folders as above, there was not any "entries_IE8.ini" file in the "Archive_Files" and my ZIP file created as above was not integrating.

I don't know, then how to include the switches /quiet /update-no /no-default /norestart, which I need.

Somebody may please help me.

however, for 2 3 4 release the new version (ce will be able to know the version file, so do not ever put in the addon file obsolete, if you integrate goals for old fix), only with that again, I do not know really

All addon IE8 passed to version 1.1.0, I already upload them all (ENU, ITA, CSY, DEU, ESN, FRA, HEB, NLD, PLK, PTB), we see when we put time, but I soon will be available all
