Nomadturk Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Is it just me?I couldn't make it work.Whenever i'm trying to 7zCompress a folder, i do get a Foldername.7z the problem is it always is 32 bytes and it is empty. Also,i whenever i try 7zCompress a file, i do get a ".7z.7z" file created in the C:\, which also is empty!Weird. I wonder if that may be due to Turkish operating system?...I've tried checking what listfile.txt contains. When i tried compressing Program Files, it only has the below line in it.C:\Program FilesWhen i tried adding multiple or single files, the listfile.txt had the correct lines in it but... Resulting .7z file is always empty!Damn! Quote

Nomadturk Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 (edited) I'm running this on a 32Bit Windows XP SP2 Turkish operating system, installed to an imac.Weird. It still repeats the same problem. Though i have no local characters in my paths, i always get the same 32byte files as result.I tried 7zCompress on C:\Torrent folder to avoid any language problems. (My user name doesn't have spaces or Turkish characters either.)But... No luck. I've tried on several files and folders within C:\ but... I'll go mad. I've been working with the code altering, adding, removing... No luck.I wonder if it is only me? (The original one does the same as well) Edited April 16, 2009 by Nomadturk Quote
