tamilcheetas Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 Shell32.dll file not copied, during installation..The files after shell32 are also not copied, bwfore that all arefineVista 2000 BootScreen,My Comp,IE 7 ICon,etcStart Menu Vista 2000Vista Sounds and wallsall are fine..If possible add some screensavers..I think, you need to shut the Explorer.exe, and to copy the Shell32 Quote

cygnus Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 (edited) if your reffering to finding that picture, then thats an easy one, its called "OEMLOGO.BMP" in the system32 directory. To get the button with more information, that ones called "OEMINFO.INI". The "OEMLOGO.BMP" file should be around the size of 169 x 57 or so. Give or take. Here is t he contents of mine when I loaded up XP on my laptop (OEM Restore CD)[General]Manufacturer=Dell Computer CorporationModel=Latitude CPx JSupportURL=http://support.dell.com/[support Information]Line1=When contacting Dell Computer for support, please haveLine2=the following information available.Line3=Line4= Service Tag: snippedLine5= Express Service Code: snippedLine6=Line7=For online support, please go to http://support.dell.comLINE8=For 24-hour technical support, in the USA, call 1-800-BUY-DELL Edited January 23, 2007 by cygnus Quote

Vacuum Ninja Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Hey Damian, the pack is great, but my late 90's video card doesn't support 32-bit color depth.Maybe you could make a modified version with 16 or 24-bit icons for those of us who wantthe Vista look on a crappy old computer? :guiltysmiley: Quote
