Provolino Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 (edited) Downloading now Edit:Installed... it works Maybe you should remove mgb screensaver because it's not microsoft official one Also you should update vista beta and vista beta 2 screensavers with rtm versions P.S.I have vista installed... if you need screensaver files let me know Edited January 27, 2007 by Provolino Quote
ricktendo Posted January 27, 2007 Author Posted January 27, 2007 If you install vaio you can patch and add them... Just right and choose patch vista screensaver then put those that work in system32 Quote

tap52384 Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 For the Vista Bubbles Screensaver in Windows XP, is it possible to have the current desktop as the background instead of just the wallpaper? If so, how? If not, I understand. Quote
Mr.McNally Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Vista Screensavers for XPMD5: 7E986734B5F70D0BEE80300DD0A22C10Size: 1.58 MBDescription: Collection of Vista screensavers from different sources I put together into a AddOnThanks Rick! They are much better than the original XP screen savers. I really like the one called bliss! I think you will also be happy to know that I used you "add-on installer" add-on to install these and it worked like a charm. Thanks for your hard work! :welcome: Quote
tap52384 Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 I didn't see a screensaver in the pack called bliss; are you sure you're not referring to the Windows XP Screensaver Bliss that was released a few years back? Quote
bleeb Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 Hey rick do you know if there is a ported Vista screensaver, that just says "Windows Vista" but when it changes it's place on the screen, the "vLogon.scr" design comes up and shines the lines. Kind of hard to explain.. but it's called Windows Vista Logo in the acutal OS. Thanks Quote
ricktendo Posted May 29, 2008 Author Posted May 29, 2008 If you have Alky you can patch them to work on XP... here are some ones from Vista SP1, you copy them and the en-US folder to system32 and right click on them and choose Patch Vista Screensaverhttp://rapidshare.com/files/118631110/Vist...Screensavers.7z Quote
bleeb Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Where do I put the screensavers themselves? I get an error when I try to patch them with Alky Quote
bleeb Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Thanks, the Windows Logo screensaver keeps giving me an error though, when I try and patch it.It says, "Sorry. This application attempted to delay-load a library or function that does not exist. Instability may occur." Quote
ricktendo Posted May 30, 2008 Author Posted May 30, 2008 Install Wirleless Lan API, you can find a link here in the FAQ for sidebar http://www.wincert.net/forum/index.php?s=&...post&p=7623 Quote
bleeb Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Installed the Hotfix, and it still says the error message upon patching, bah. Quote
thedexmonster Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 Any idea what might cause an "Unspecified Error encountered" error on Aurora, Bubbles, Mystify, and Ribbons when installed in VMware? Everything works on my real machine. Quote
MrNxDmX Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 They require a 3d environment and vmware or such virtual machines doesnt support that. Quote
docmike Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 (edited) Works great! I wanted ask is in system32 what are these named if you want to get rid of them? Not that i will but just in case.Doc :icon_cool:I looked in system32 folder and found all the other scr files i have except the new ones. Are the in a different folder?? thedexmonster Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 They require a 3d environment and vmware or such virtual machines doesnt support that. Thanks for the reply. I thought it was just VMware, I just couldn't figure out why all the other screen savers work. Quote
