ricktendo Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Anybody have these same problems? Quote
NIM Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Yes Rick, here's the reason why Your Hybrid server on hardware node ***** is utilizing over 60% of the CPU of the node constantly which is causing major problem for the entire hardware node. After carefully watching the server hardware consumption for several days at the time when the load increases and server performance decreases, we have identified that your vps is the one causing load problems. It appears that the traffic on the server is increasing daily and has shown a sharp increase in the last few days. This shows that you are growing and your busssiness is attaracting more users , which is a good sign for you and also for us. We run an equal CPU share VPS environment, which most other providers do as well but your VPS is constantly consuming over 60% of the CPU and we are unable to provide quality service to other users on this shared hardware due to this. If you believe the resource usage of the vps is not going to come down and is normal traffic, I suggest you upgrade from the Hybrid to a dedicated server. Believe it or not, monthly fee for a dedicated server is 179$Note: This server issues could be related to bulk mail which was sent to our users, which is canceled now. Everything should be running normally now, if not, only way to stay online is dedicated server. Quote
