Hey guys/girls,

After messing around with a computer I got off my mate for nothing.

I've now turned it into a server.

What I am trying to do now is set up network users.

I'm so lost with this... lol :wub_anim:

I have some accounts made in the Active Directory Users and Computers.

But then I don't have a clue of what to do next.

I have a domain set up already.

Is there anything else I need to do before I continue...???

Thanks for any help, :giveheart:

Snake

Also here is the server specs:

AMD something. 1.6GHz lol don't know the name of it

512MB ddr1 200MHz

1x 160GB (partitioned into ~50GB and ~100GB)

1x 40GB HDD

Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 + all updates

If you have setup Active Directory and domain, and you have created users in the domain, there's nothing you need to do next. Those users should be able to login to that domain.

Anything going wrong should i try to put the folders there myself?

EDIT: I think i've got it now. I wasn't using Local pathI was using Connect option. (thats what i think was going wrong...)

LMAO after all that and reinstalling of 2003 R2 i've got it to work. :D

Basically I didn't join the domain correctly to the computer and so was giving me errors on the system.

Right now I'm setting up some other stuff for the network.

I'll reply to this topic for help if i need some.
