Kelsenellenelvian Posted November 21, 2009 Author Posted November 21, 2009 Yeah it WORKS right now... Really though it was a MAJOR one that took a long time.I couldn't put a chagelog together. I do believe everthing that is in there now is in the progs and additions list so please check that. Quote
bober Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 the vista packs used to work great but now none of the shell extentions work(or get registered corectly, only one appears in the context, run with args and its not working,it seems to be registered to sys32 instead of syswow64)) and a few send to's also dont work(ie:7zsplit).but other than that, these uber packs along witht he cpls are a must have on any system.(cant confirm the x32 packs, didint try them) Quote

Uncle_Gadget Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Kels,As a suggestion, you may want to consider adding the statement:CheckAdminRights = 1to the [DefaultInstall] section of the inf. I believe this willprevent executing the installer without Admin rights, which I foundwill cause problems. This also leads me to ask if anyone has found a good INF reference that includes the latest 64-bit OS updates tounderstand the differences in writing INF installers forWindows 7 64-bit versus 32-bit OS's?Along with this, is there a way to flag an executable(.exe, .cmd, .vbs, etc) during the INF install process toprompt for Administrator privileges before execution?
