Posted (edited)

i got an error Kels

missing Resourcer Changelist.txt and Resourcer.txt

i hope you get it fixed

i gonna do some tests but it might be a miss since i have an older uber pack

gonna try to clean things up in here

Edit:

for Reg2Inf it won't work

since files get copied to syswow64

the cmd wouldn't find the Reg2inf.exe

so you need to add

%windir%\SysWOW64\

before the

reg2inf.exe "%WORKFILE%" "%OUTFILE%" /repvars

NONE of those need to be copied.

All of them copy theirselves during the regsvr32.exe processing!

:o

Yeah it WORKS right now... :D

Really though it was a MAJOR one that took a long time.

I couldn't put a chagelog together. I do believe everthing that is in there now is in the progs and additions list so please check that.

the vista packs used to work great but now none of the shell extentions work(or get registered corectly, only one appears in the context, run with args and its not working,it seems to be registered to sys32 instead of syswow64)) and a few send to's also dont work(ie:7zsplit).

but other than that, these uber packs along witht he cpls are a must have on any system.

(cant confirm the x32 packs, didint try them)

I'd really like to get a hold of this pack. if ANYONE can provide a link,

I would greatly appreciate it. I'll even update it with the latest versions

and make the update available.

Thanks, in advance.

Kels,

As a suggestion, you may want to consider adding the statement:

CheckAdminRights = 1

to the [DefaultInstall] section of the inf. I believe this will

prevent executing the installer without Admin rights, which I found

will cause problems.

This also leads me to ask if anyone has found a good INF

reference that includes the latest 64-bit OS updates to

understand the differences in writing INF installers for

Windows 7 64-bit versus 32-bit OS's?

Along with this, is there a way to flag an executable

(.exe, .cmd, .vbs, etc) during the INF install process to

prompt for Administrator privileges before execution?

well when you make it with winrar make it request admin it would work fine

but kels didn't do it in this version in next version i think he would make it fine
