hi

so KB2803821-v2 for WMP9

and KB2834904-v2 for WMP11

that is correct.

the update pack contains the WMP9 update and not the WMP11.

for WMP11 you require a separate addon.

Thank you.

But nLite gives an error and closes during processing!

This never happened before.

I tried October updates and everything works fine. This means it has something to do with November updates.

Would you please look into it?

Thank you again!

what version of nlite are you using?

I do not use nlite so I can not test however no one else has reported it.

I'm using 1.4.9.1

I also tried the latest version 1.4.9.3, same problem!

What made me sure the problem is with the pack is that when I do the October pack it finishes succssfully!

Thank you for the follow up..

@ Maher

I just loaded nlite 1.4.9.3

added my updatepack (20131112) along with 7 addons.

everything was fine no errors.

maybe your download of the updatepack was corrupt?

as far as i'm concerned there is no issue as I have now personally tested it.

It looks like there is a bug in the UpdatePack with the "KB2749655" Hotfix the registry entries for this Hotfix are not added to the registry and i have also this error message in the setuperr.log file:

Error: Setup detected that the system file named [c:\windows\system32\wintrust.dll] is by Microsoft. This file could not be restored to the correct Microsoft version. Use the SFC utility to verify the integrity of the file.***
